International Solutions For Higher Fire Safety In Tunnels.

Dne 9.10.2011 naše společnost prováděla zkoušky požárního větrání pomocí aerosolu s reálným energetickým zdrojem v nově postaveném tunelu Saas ve Švýcarsku. Tunel se nachází na hlavním silničním tahu na Davos. Jedná se o jednotroubový tunel dlouhý 2582m.

Ve dnech od 4.10. do 6.10.2011 naše společnost prováděla zkoušky požárního větrání pomocí aerosolu s reálným energetickým zdrojem v tunelu San Bernardino ve Švýcarsku. Jedná se o tunel, který byl postaven v sedmdesátých letech minulého století a nyní je po rozsáhlejší rekonstrukci technologie, zejména požárního větrání. Tunel je dlouhý přibližně 6,5km a jedná se o druhou nejvýznamnější tunelovou stavbu pod Alpami.

Our company has successfully finished the tests and the certification of a new product named FIRE BLIND. It stands next to our other products and it is important component for the fire safety of buildings. For the present we are on the very beginning that is why we own only the fire safety EW 15 resistivity certification.

We have organized test of glassed fire wall during June 7th and 8th, 2010. We reached fire resistance EI 120 DP1 of frameless glassed wall from hardened glass by suggesting of sprinkling and appropriate construction of the wall intself.

There have been complex tests on May 30th, 2010 in tunnel Komořany - Cholupice (SOKP 513). There was used hot smoke by creating aerosol with real energetic source which allowed visualisation of the fire ventilation.

The purpose of the publication is to make the professional public, above all designers, familiar with the issues of installation of cable routes and power supply to fire safety equipment and equipment which must remain functional in case of fire in connection with valid legislation in the Czech Republic, especially with the Regulation No. 23/2008 Coll., on technical conditions of fire protection of buildings and the norm ČSN 73 0848 - Fire safety of buildings - Cable systems. On November 30th, 2009 there have been complex tests in cooperation with National Highway Company of tunnel Borik. At the same time, there has been function test - Hot smoke had been created by using aerosol with real energetic source which allowed visualization of the fire ventilation.

This month our company along with company KPM CONSULT, a.s. and VŠB TU Ostrava won grant project ev. No. FR-TI1/121 "New solutions for higher safety in tunnels. This project was won in public competition in research and progress published by granter, Department of Trade and Industry of Czech Republic, in program TIP. By this step we have started to fully solve problems of fire safety in tunnels, with a view to systems and methods of tunnels' fire ventilation tests, solution suggestion of stabile sprinkler system for tunnels including verification and prototype's project of these systems.

On October 21st, 2009 there was a conference "Constructions' fire safety, sandwich panels with IPN foam" in the customer centre of KINGSPAN a.s. We have been participating on the preparation of the program of this conference together with the organizer including a course "Increasing of cladding fire resistance by water artificial humidification".

Together with Road and Motorway Directorate of the Czech Republic we were doing complex tests of Panenská and Libouchec tunnels on October 3rd, 2009. There was also function test - Hot smoke has been created by using aerosol with real energetic source which allowed visualization of the fire ventilation.

On September 4th, 2009 was opened another Hypermarket GLOBUS in Ostrava-Plesná. Our company have participated on the development from the very beginning. From designing preparation of regional and building control, through realization of some fire safety systems such as supply of smoke and heat exhaust, smoke barriers, fire-fighting closings, extinguishers to marking of subjects of fire safety. We continue to provide preventive fire protection and services in the range of work safety.

On the 25th of August 2010 in the ISLA BELLA tunnel our company made the tests of fire ventilation with a hot smoke visualization thanks to the aerosol with a real source of energy. It is a double traffic direction tunnel of 2,5 km length with a half cross ventilation which was tested.
On the 19th of August 2010 complex tests of the fire safety systems include control system were made. Part of the tests involved also the test of the fire ventilation with a hot smoke visualization thanks to the aerosol with a real source of energy in the tunnel Lehovice-Slivec building no. 514. The client of the tests was Road and Motorway Directorate of the Czech Republic.
